Still remember Stjepan Tomas?

Dobar dan!
Ja sam iz Russiji, oprostite - govorim hrvatski malo (razumijem bolje).

Pitam vas za Stjepana Tomasa - he used to play for Dinamo Zagreb, now in Turkey.

A Russian novine wrote that he may transfer from Galtasaraj to FC "Zenit" iz Sankt-Peterberga (sada imamo samo Ivicu Krizanaca od hrvatskih).

What I wanna know if he is still a national team member. Did he play any game at World Cup'06 in Germany? Je li on u nacionaljnoj reprezentacii sada?
Has he played against Russia in september and may he play against Russia in Zagreb?

Hello Rus SPb,

Tomas last played for Croatia in a World Cup game vs Australia, not a very good game as he made a number of mistakes (unfortuanatelly handled a ball for a penalty too). He was selected for that game after R. Kovac was suspended and was put on to Viduka.

At the moment he's not in the NT. He didn't play vs Russia in Moscow and I don't think he will play in Zagreb either.
In the lead up to the World Cup he was a regular member of NT but then had a 'yellow minute'...lol

He recovered after that lapse and played well for Galatasaray and there was a talk he might be called up again but then that talk 'died down' and he's still on the outer...

All in all he played 49 games and scored one goal for Croatia.
