Clash of the Titans
Ok let’s start the ball rolling with this one. Personally I wasn't that horrified by the news on them remaking Clash. Of a genre and type of film to choose, this may actually suit the modern effects Hollywood has to offer. Provided they actually get a decent script, we 'may' be in for a great film. The same can’t be said for other choices they have made recently. The ‘Omen’ for example. A Film that mainly relied on great acting, a great script, and the slow building of psychological terror throughout the film to my mind would benefit nothing from a glitzy remake.

Re: Clash of the Titans
Totally agree, Hollywood is so desperate for new ideas they need something more exciting than another classic horror remake.
Greek Mythology, finally with the technology available we can make the myths and legends come alive. How long before we get the Odyssey? Or maybe they start making classic greek tragedies like Oedipus or Medea, still quite relevant for our time.
Stop-motion animation is fantastic and an important part of cinematic history, but in this age of churning them out fast cgi is cheaper and faster.
I say bring it on and if it's crap like other recent remakes we can slag it off, but at least this has big potential!
