Poseidon
A remake I am excited to see is Poseidon, a remake of the classic disaster movie The Poseidon Adventure. With Wolfgang Petersen at the helm it looks quite entertaining.
I love disaster movies, they are always cheesy, especially when they are all safe at the end and then the beloved pet dog appears from the rubble and everyone smiles. Even though it's set on a cruise ship you can bet some kid will have a pet that needs rescuing.
