Using Emulator of Lanc Missions
I found a problem with the emulator. The standard first tour of ops for an RAF bomber crew was 30 missions. I just flew the latest mission and three of my crew members completed their 25th op. But the emulator now says their tour is over, obviously picking this up from the USAAF tour of 25 missions.
The only way I can see to get around this is to enter the data base and change the crew status so they are still active.

Re: Using Emulator of Lanc Missions
Guess I overlooked that ... :-)
You would need to change each crew members individual status, as well as change the bomber's record so that it had the crew member's ID at the appropriate position. Be careful though. Back up the data, first.
I did that, manually, for one of my B-17 guys when I had him "re-up" for a second tour.
Or, you could just say they did 25, and got shuffled up to staff positions, and the like ... ;-)

Re: Using Emulator of Lanc Missions
Preston:
Edited the db no problem so hopefully the boys can make five more trips without incident.
As far as having the boys kicked upstairs, this is an all sergeant crew, oft considered the lowest of life forms amongst flying crews by the Bomber Command during the war. In his book, Doug Harvey tells a story of how the sergeant crews seemed to be considered disposable. The two squadrons on the base were ready to take off for a mission. The lead plane belonged to a Group Captain. There was some concern that the snowy runway conditions would not allow the planes to take off safely. The GC suggested he move his AC out of the way the next plane in line, piloted by a sergeant, should attempt to take off and if he made it the rest would follow. The sergeant suggested that since the GC was already first in line he should take off and if he made the rest would follow. The mission was scrubbed!
