Type 1 hood will not open, help!
My daughter ran into an obstruction due to lack of clutch knowledge. My hood will not open, any ideas on how to open the hood without the latch working?

If it has the spare in it will be tough. If not you can go up behind the spare tire well and push the plates in and squeeze you arms in and attach something strong and pull. If the spare is in, you can take the left grille or try to twist the speedo and reach in and unbolt the hood, if you cant twist it, take out the radio and reach over with a phillips and unscrew the gauge gauge screws a few turns. The screws are at 9 and 3 oclock. then reach over and take the screw out that holds the glove box. That screw has to be taken all the way out. then you can unbolt the hood.
