Australia Day Brisbane
For those in the Brisbane Area, Government House is open for the day on 26th April from 10 till 4.
This will be the first time in many years I will not be there but the Queensland Mounted Infantry Historical Troop will provide a mounted guard (in WWI uniform and equipment) for the day and a static historical display in conjunction with the museum of 2/14th Light Horse Regiment. Victoria Barracks Historical Society (Brisbane) will also have a display
