Re: 54th Battalion History.

Ross: looking forward to the release.
Are you planning a big launch here in Newcastle for the occasion?
I have found (from past experience) that the best times to 'launch' a book on military history is around the time of Anzac Day or Remembrance Day, or around the time of a significant anniversary, eg the anniversary of Beersheba, Lone Pine, Pozieres etc.
Most of the public wouldn't know when these events occurred, but in time they may broaden their knowledge of such things.
If I can be of any assistance with media contacts etc, let me know, okie dokie?

Ross's book, 'Our Gift to the Empire', 54th Australian Infantry Battalion 1916-1919, is now released, and Ross has had functions in Newcastle, Sydney, Dubbo and Bathurst to promote sales. It is a must-buy.
