New book released: Wellington's Finest
Trevor Munro and Graeme Hosken wish to advise readers that their book, 'Wellington's Finest', the story of over 1500 enlistments from Wellington (NSW) and surrounding districts has been published and will be launched on 30 April at Wellington. The book is huge, with 781 pages and weighs in at 1.75 kg, so you are certainly getting your money's worth. Priced at $70 (add $10 p & h), copies can be ordered from the authors. Contact me at ghoskenaif@bigpond.com and I will email an order form. The book features over 650 photos and many accounts from primary sources of the mens' experiences. Most material has never been made available before, or not since the war years.

Hi Graeme,
Does it have any photos of soldiers kia/dow in Passchendaele 1917 which are not listed in AWM-site?
If so, we would like to purchase a copy.

Good question, Jan. It is 782 pages long and contains around 400 photos. I guess there should be some. It would be best if we look first, as it is quite an expensive book ($65) plus heavy, so postage would be a bit. I would love to sell you a copy but not if you don't need it. Yves Fohlen has a copy, so does Anny de Decker, so if you are in contact with either I'm sure they can show you the book.

Picked up my copy of 'Wellington's Finest' from the post office today. What an absolutely magnificent effort - congratulations to both yourself and Trevor.
So many more soldiers remembered - I only hope I can one day do my soldiers the same honour - it gives me hope to keep plugging away at my research.
