O.A. S.V.R 71 carbine mark

I've come across an Enfield carbine here in Minnesota/USA, I've been told the O.A. on the unit disk is for Orange Australia. I've been trying to find what unit the S.V.R mark also on the disk is from. The date on the disk is 5. 1912, below the S.V.R is 71. Scratched into the finish of the buttstock are the initials "DLB". I'd appreciate any thoughts! Thx, Bob
