My grandfather was in D Company of the 2/1st Pioneer Batallion, I would be very interested in talking to relatives of anyone who might've been in the same company and known him. I'm also interested in learning more detail about the campaigns they were involved with - I have my grandfathers service records, but they're a bit light on the information, and afaik my grandfather didn't keep any records/letters.
