42nd Battalion Doctor
I am the daughter of Dr. Benjamin Short who served in Bouganville in WW2. I tracked down and bought the book about the battalion by S.E.Benson.My father is in a photo opposite page 36 and last in picture opposite page 37. My father has been dead many years but I wondered if anyone who remembers him would email me with their memories if that would please them. A long shot but worth a try. His name was Dr. Benjamin Short . Any information would be appreciated. June . Email to
