E&A&R :
Music Tourist Board presents Newer Wave Guitar Stars live on stage...
CITY LIGHTS + THE DANDILIONS + KIARA SCURO
@ P.O.L.E. CLUB (first Thursdays of the month at The Good Ship)
CITY LIGHTS : Hold on to your seats for London's punk fatale thrill. Invited back to P.O.L.E. by request. Gutsy garage rock, rich with influences ranging from The Rolling Stones and Blondie to The Libertines and Bloc Party. Imagine The Pipettes mentored by The Fall, managed by Motorhead, playing an underground club with Johnny Cash on the door and Tom Waits running the bar. This hot young trio went down a treat at P.O.L.E.'s New Year bash. You are now tipped about City Lights. Look out for them Pushing Pussy in the near future. Uh? See http://www.myspace.com/citylightslondon
See City Lights live in action playing at Merc's flagship store in Carnaby Street

THE DANDILIONS : It's D-Day! Described by Club NME as one of Leicester's "finest young acts on the path to stardom, and fast", The Dandilions play sharp punky rock steady beats with mega catchy tunes and showmanship. Supports wth The Paddingtons, Jamie T, The Bishops, Good Shoes etc, and their own, (always sold out) club, D-Day, plus self recorded/ produced EP 'We'll Meet You There' - all gathering great feedback, and biz interest, several majors included. A development deal has just been signed...

KIARA SCURO : Supersonic electronic with a driving beat that will move your feet mixed with raucous rock like a long hard co cktail drink at the end of the day... Reactions so far are that this is an amazing new band, with special as fug dynamism, to catch at close range while you can. Consider this an invitation to say you were there when you really were. Wild coloured hair not mandatory but visually luvverly!
