THE CIRCUS OF MAGNESIUM THERAPY - http://myspace.com/thecofmt
Juggernaut riffs that hit you between the eyes, the circus is coming to town. A classic brit-rock band that have a storming reputation already as a new force in music. Their demo stunned it's way on to the Once Upon Another Time compilation P.O.L.E. compilation "The first compilation by gig promoters music tourist board had a demo by an unsigned Bloc Party. They show a similar level of talent-spotting here.” (Teletext)
It's early days for the band but their high energy sound and live act (based on a wide range of influences, including Faith No More, Interpol, Mars Volta, Deftones, Jimi Hendrix, Muse. Rage Against The Machine, System Of A Down) is earning them a following and is, as Morning Star newspaper noted, "baiting the mainstream with high octane riffs and electrifying live gigs."
THE NEUTRINOS - http://www.myspace.com/theneutrinosinspace
'The Neutrinos are never less than attention grabbing' (Artrocker)
The Neutrinos released their album One Way Kiss to great, good and bizarre reviews following adventures in Berlin and Toronto earlier this year. Chosen as one of five UK acts to play at Canada's NXNE this is a band to catch up close. Even their science cousins are excited by the band, inviting them to play live for the international
neutrino research project 'Icecube', hunting neutrinos in Antarctica to estimate the size of the universe. This band prefers the untrodden path.
'The Neutrinos are a force of nature' (Torontowide)
'Hottest guitar band of 2007' (Total Rock)
'Throbbing art-punk noise and sexy urgent energy' (Time Out New York).
'Like a beast that is simultaneously a cat, a dog and a rabbit' (New Scientist)
'Great PJ Harvey style ball busting vocals and the best deranged whine possible." (Russell Barker Reviews)
The feedback, reviews etc on The Neutrinos is pretty stunning at CD Baby http://cdbaby.com/cd/neutrinos2
SOUL DESTROYER - http://myspace.com/souldestroyerband
"An entirely subtlety-free soundclash between Sabbath and The Prodigy...creating an unhinged hybrid of pounding beatbox rock and anthemic, lobotomised metal." - Metal Hammer
Rock, and then some... Somewhat different from the norm, the music combines massive old skool metal riffs, with breakbeats, loops and samples and lyrics that push the boundaries of taste. "...there's not much around that sounds like it" - rockmidget.com
Live, the band delivers a manic energy (there is no drummer; a laptop controls that side of things) with the three eerily masked members dementedly dancing and confronting the audience. They left P.O.L.E. Club gob-smacked recently and were invited back as soon as they left the stage...
TEN CITY NATION - http://myspace.com/tencitynation
...they will rock RoCk ROCK you! Ex Miss Black America, present guitar megablast, Ten City Nation are a furious new presence with a ferocious live reputation!
"Ten City Nation have amazing presence" (Drowned In Sound).

Who along with P.O.L.E. promoter JANE DEANE, is one half of the fab Heartbreakers DJs http://myspace.com/theheartbreakersmusic
Captain John and the gang at The Good Ship have taken the P.O.L.E. experience to their hearts. It's one of the fave venues on the rising star circuit that bands and audiences alike recommend (Peel Street).

P.O.L.E. (sister club, South P.O.L.E. is at MTB HQ, New Cross Inn)...
"Put on to showcase a selection of the best unsigned bands around" (Artrocker.com)
"There's no chance of this Tart Rock celebration of music being pigeon-holed" (Pulse)
"Jesus, what a night. I don’t have a smart punchline or anything. Egalitarian spirit plus good bands, good place, no b u l l s h i t simple. Seriously, why aren’t more venues doing this?" (DamnPest)
"Expect a load of nutters dressed as pirates and fairies" (Time Out)
Presenting Outrageously Legendary Entertainment.
The best in showy performances from The Newer Wave Buzz bands, rock & electro party DJs/guests, visuals and a mix of DIY network friends - an old school ethic with a nu-skool n dancing vibe...
Photographers / zines / artists etc contact therocklands @ yahoo .com for involvement in the night/with the bands.
“At a time when the major record labels are becoming extinct by the internet download revolution, there are only two choices - sink in a sea of endless x-factor one hit wonders, or surf the digital waves and find something more permanent. This compilation of new music gives some oxygen to British rock and pop.” (Morning Star).
