MONDAY 20-AUG-007
What a lovely meet up.
Got to Deptford Arms about seven ish. A friendly young fella was asking about the happy hours drinks, and got one. Then Chris arrived with some fab art, wow, artful has an image at last, and it's amaziing.
I met Nigel of Bermondsey who is now Nigel of Peckham, and he's gonna come and sing at the Wednesday open mic nights so I get to see him after bumping into him on myspace.
Fred, Rob, Kate, Tristan and Graham came too. The friendly young fella was called Gary and he had some great art that I was nosing at but was too shy to say more so Rob invited him over - it turns out that Gary had bought him a tequila at a gig - and new friends were made.
The pub was a bit rowdy a few times like a scene out of Eastenders but it was a very chhilled out vibe, we got loads of ideas mixed together and I probably gabbled my big mouth off too much 'cos I got excited at all that was going on.
The good thing is that I've just googled the on-line tag, artful007, and not one single document came up (this forum is invisible in searches which is why they're ugly but don't get spammed).
It really is day one of the on-line festival...

MONDAY 03-SEPT-007
Aah
We did it outdoors by candlelight
The genius that is Simon from The Blue Light District is gonna get us an Artful website. Woohoo!
Phil from The Blue Light District is so organised that we've even got some minutes from the meeting, now. Loads more events, visual art to add...
Sarah from The Blue Light District got all our emails and has the artist contacts.
Chris Getliffe and Matt Sargent are gonna have an exhibition at Deptford Arms on September 7th. A bit of a do, it is, with music and all sorts... Chris has some images for the Artful program too, which whill have a map of the borough of Lewishambles where most of the live events take place as well as the Unlikely Gallery existing.
Kate and Tristan filled everybody in with where we are, to date, and I have the listings starting to come together, which I am gonna ping around.
We got absolutely loads done, and moved on, plus I have the Artful image from Chris, to start getting around.
