13:53 Magazine (art, graphics, photography)
London's lower east side is it's most creative community. 13:53 is the representation of that

Blah Blah Blah (musicians)
Jay, Chris and Tom Blah were born on the wavelength of Planet Water. The infectious pop trio exude good karma as well as top notch alternative pop. Very much part of the Rocklands story. Definitely blessed with lots of mates...

The Blue Light District (creative collective)
Definitely playing class friends. How can The Blue Light District help you? They offer a range of services, connections, events and ideas. They are a core component of Artful Festival, and part of the family of imagination that make Costa del Thames an alternative pleasure of London.

Costa del Thames
The concept of Rocklands & Docklands being a destination for affordable, alternative leisure and entertainment is not as comic as it sounds. In fact, since this project began, the treasure of London's lower east side, it's every day people, have made an alternative economy a real potential.
The first feedback from locals and visitors alike is being gathered. Deptford Birds Nest is a point of call for information and accomodation. Between the wealth of venues, artists, nature, studios, b&bs, creative businesses, theatres, magic, myth, festivals, collectives, unique retail outlets, views and tourist centre Greenwich there is nowhere quite like the South East Bank.

Denis Fernando (activist, writer)
The so called first world may be drenched in apathy at a time when human self extinction is at a peak and the environment is unbalanced, but as long as some human spirits are inspired to stand up for what they believe in, all is not lost. Having attended the initial Paradise Bar gatherings, Denis gets the more serious, political side of what Music Tourist Board's positivity is about. Social justice and escapism for mental well-being.

Digital Sneakers (film & video)
Met with Zee from DS on 31 Mar 008. Allied with MTB. Helping with presentation. MTB will promote them/Charlie Productions. United with invidivual branding.

Dirty Sounds (musicians, promoters, writers, DJs, tour management)
48 hour party people with a massive circle of friends and connections and a record of staging the next big things even before they are. Grab their services, face to face at MTB events. Also core instigators of Artful Festival.

The Heartbreakers (DJs, event hosts, photography)
Music Tourist Board's live hosts are Jane and Karen Heartbreaker. Jane is co-promoter of London's P.O.L.E. Club (the newer wave buzz live on stage where MTB find entertainers for their party/festive events). Karen is a rising star of the music photography scene.

Nancy Roxx (writer)
I'm Nancy Roxx. I've been writing about bands for a couple of years, had live reviews and album and single write up's published by all sorts of webzines and magazines including NME, Total Spec. I'm currently the live editor for Maps Magazine. I also put on gigs and snap photo's of bands and musical artists. I love the non-commercial (music) scene; the raw talent, the people and the community vibe. I'm not interested in cashing in on it all, I just love being part of it. I'm also an English teacher, and keen to encourage aspiring teen artists to come forth, and I want to put on some underage events for the little blighter's. I'm terribly enthusiastic and would tear out my heart if someone needed it. I recently moved to south London and am loving the sunshine!
http://www.mapsmagazine.co.uk is in the vanguard of Music Tourist Board, born in Paradise... Also instigators of the increasingly copied/popular Download Advent Calendar and purveyors of very special occasional live events

Officer Kicks
Organic, DIY, rock band that played their first show at the first Artful Festival. Since then, their talent and reputation have propelled them stealthily to greater heights. Their close involvement includes Music Tourist Board putting itself to the test, by using the talent on this page, whenever possible, as part of their album campaign for 2008, as an example that will either succeed or fail as a credible alternative artist development service.
Choosing a self-marketing alternative idol talent that DEFINITELY walk away with new fans every show is key to the E&A&R of what we do.

Peel Street
A selection of venues recommended by the bands, as well as the audiences. On the Planet Water vibe. So far includes Brixton Windmill, Bath Moles, Hitchin Club 85, New Cross Inn, Kilburn Good Ship, Cambridge Portland Arms, Deptford Arms. In the initial stages of conception.

Planet Water
Give Water. Give Life.

The Skuzzies
A real deal band managed by legendary rock biographer Nina Antonia. From the D ickensian Deptford streets, singer, Jerome, is an artful dodger for our times. Also the first Night Mayor of Rocklands. Come on the republic!

Unemployable Welsh Scum / Totally Tidy Tours (DJs/Tour Travel Management)
Like the Dirty Sounds crew, Stonk-n-Claw are rock'n'roll beyond the call of duty. UWS kicked off Music Tourist Board's live music events and the DJs you want if your party's gonna ROCK. Totally Tidy Tours do what it says on the label. Responsible, reliable, reasonable and personable. Your favourite crew.
