DEXY -
A Timeless-Pop-Melody solo adventure.
Dexy first got up on stage and dared to sing during the first Artful Festival (October 005).
Used to singing backing vocals and playing guitar in cult rock bands, it was a brave first for him. The very positive response that his honey toned vocals and soul prodding tunes had, probably astonished him as much as everybody else.
Nowadays, he’s much in demand,with even Elliott Smith’s band among those singing his praises. This year he played at the City Showcase event in Goldsmiths and less than a year after starting his career, found himself on the same bill as Bob Dylan at Bournemouth Festival and working with ex-Mansun front man, Paul Draper, on Paul's new material.
