CIRCUS OF MAGNESIUM THERAPY

LAZYSLAVE - Rock that ROCKS
(became Circus Of Magnesium Therapy Nov 006)

In December 004 a new force in British Rock came together from the ashes of various bands and line ups, six months later, they had created a high energy sound and live act based on a wide range of influences, including Faith No More, Interpol, Mars Volta, Deftones, A Perfect Circle, Jimi Hendrix, Rage Against The Machine, System Of A Down... the result created Lazyslave in September 005.

More new material was written and they have started performing regularly around London to great success, gathering the seeds of a close following along the way.

Re: CIRCUS OF MAGNESIUM THERAPY

Nov 006 : New dates, new tunes, plus an article in Morning Star Newspaper....

IN PROFILE: The Circus of Magnesium Therapy

'THE Circus of Magnesium Therapy consists of Sirrus (vocals), Hidari (guitarist), G (bass) and Putra 'Afro' Punk (drums).

They originate from Greek, Anglo Indian and Sri Lankan backgrounds. Taking influence from the post-grunge fallout of Faith No More, Interpol, The Mars Volta, Deftones, Jimi Hendrix, Muse, Rage Against The Machine and System Of A Down, they are currently performing regularly all over London.

Emerging from the burgeoning north London rock scene, The Circus of Magnesium Therapy are one of a new wave of alternative rock bands that are baiting the mainstream with high octane riffs and electrifying live gigs.

Tracks such as White Shoes take the well-trodden retro sound of contemporary indie, giving it a much-needed adrenalin jab to the vital arteries, while tracks such as Platform and Looks Could Kill are from an alternative universe where the 1980s were cool for all the right reasons.

Why has the mainstream not answered their call yet? Perhaps its because the rock world is not yet ready to hear music like this from a bunch of ethnically diverse upstarts from London.

Whatever the reason, go grab a piece of the future and see them live.'
