THE VEEZ - Full On Rock N Roll tastic
"pop-punk hooks and great choruses" (clash magazine)
Less than two year’s since their first show (Oct 004) to a thousand Hawkwind fans (a rough demo got them tour support).
The Veez have played festivals and special events galore since - it’s because they ROCK. Singer, Shay, hunted out the best female musicians around.
The foursome are attracting a bigger following with each successive gig. have recorded three singles with producer YOUTH (The Verve, Embrace, Primal Scream etc) and alreaady played Glastonbury 2005.
They started their own night at the Cube & Star in London, introducing bands to playing at the club (includig Babyshambles). They don't follow trends, they start them. It was only right that they launched Artful 006 - their full on show brought the house down and set a high standard for the month long best-new-buzz-bands fest.

I'm glad to have news of The Veez. I saw them at The Paradise Bar and The Venue, but havent heard of them for a while. They are potentially one of the biggest bands from this area.

The Veez will headline DIRTY SOUTH on Friday 29th September. It's a special DIRTY SOUTH BANK SHOW to launch this year's ARTFUL!
