ACCOMODATION IN ROCKLANDS
New Cross Inn (between New Cross Gate and New Cross rail/tube stations next to The Venue) many buses 24 hours, zone 2, six minutes to London Bridge. Walk to Deptford. A few bus stops to Greenwich, Lewisham etc. Loadsa cheap or free entertainment, affordable international dining. Great place for bands/music fans to stay. South East London is the best part of the entire city to get to the West End, The East End, The City AND Docklands easily. New Cross Road is part of the Old Kent Road - the main route between London and the continent - so is a great location.

The Mitre Hotel, 291 Greenwich High Road, London SE10 8NA t: 020 8355 6760 / 020 8293 0037 / Fax 030 8355 6761
The Mitre was first opened in the 1700s as a coffee shop. It closed down briefly after a fire then re-opened as a hotel which has served the people of Greenwich and it's visittors ever since and is now recognised by English Heritate as an importan historcal site in South East London.
