Roman and Adam are the duo that make up the band Bretton. Looped guitars doesn't sound like a recipe for artrock heaven but as they demonstrated on
our first Artrocker night of the year it really is working. Live bass and drums makes up for the dynamism of a full band on their flared hi-hat disco-fied artpop work outs. They are from the Blue Light District South London arts centre scene that encompasses William and Popular Workshop too and original New Cross artrockers Bloc Party are never far away from their moodier, Cure-like grooves. With all this in place, it seems a record
label is now required !
