email to AAC from Laura Chambers
Last year, after 23 years in the same house, we moved to Roswell. Three months later, a tornado took out our trees, power lines, and new garage roof! As we
were finishing a very long day of cutting up and hauling trees and debris, a Georgia Power truck drove up. The first thing I heard was "War Eagle" and I realized our Georgia Power worker had seen my Auburn shirt! He gave us hints as to how to get our power fixed quickly, and even provided a part (one that we were supposed to get an electrician to supply). Because of this Auburn fan, we were able to have power that night! When the lights are out, and anytime -- nothing is more welcome than a big WAR EAGLE! I AM Auburn! Laura R. Chambers
