Thanks and Goodbye
It has been my goal to win the 'Referee of the Year Award' since I started reffing over in Thetford all those years ago, well thanks to you, the teams, players, Managers, I achieved that goal, and am proud to accept it.
It comes as I have decided that I have reffed my last game in the BADSFL, SO 2008-2009 was my last season.
You now have your own home grown supply of refs available and it is only fair they get first crack at the games, so I will now offer my services to the Kings Lynn Sunday League.
It is sad to be leaving, I have made some great mates and had some fantastic times with you, the ups have been more than the downs, we have had some laughs and we have seen some good football.
I am leaving the league far stronger than when I joined, which makes me happy.
There are loads of people I would like to say goodbye too, far too many, but I will just say good bye to JF, not only a great guy but also so passionate about the league, andRobbie, who has helped me on many occassions, to all you Managers and players, suuporters and the other officials, many thanks and have a great 2009-2010, and I will keep watching this site. When I see game uncovered, I will be only a phone call away to help out.

Ray,
I'm sure the League Officers and members of the BADSFL would wish me to send to you, on the occaision of your move to pastures new, their appreciation and thanks for the service you have given to the BADSFL throughout your time of refereeing on the league.
Your record shows the valuable contribution which you have made throughout those many years' and I'm also told of the high regard in which you are held by your fellow referees.
How splended to see your name added to the list of those on the league's referee's prestige award, 'The Referee of the Year'. Please accept my congratulations for an award which I know is well deserved.
To the appreciation of the BADSFL members, may I add my own good wishes for your continued success in the future.

Sorry to see you go Ray,it was allways a pleasure to see you on a sunday and exchange banter throughout the morning. Your pulling the hanky out & blowing your nose when I thought you were going for a card to book me, will allways make me laugh whenever I think about it. The BADSFL's loss is kings lynn sunday league's gain.
We will miss you,all the best.
