2 leagues!
lets face it railway are the best team in the leagure by far!i would like to think casuals are second but what i cant work out is why sum of the lower teams are so weak mentality that rather then thinking right we will train we will get more organised as a team and we will work harder to get beta there whole mind set is o they to gd 4 us lets just start a new league!casauls hold there own in this league and we are **** yes ****!if we wasnt we wouldn be playin in this league no ones gd if we was we would be on tele!how is 2 leagues beta wit only 6 teams in each by the end of the season i gonna no the other 5 teams player by player!even be4 a ball was kicked this year i new we had to play railway 4 times!how the hell is this gd?
all this will do is push the beta sides to other leagues!

I thought the for and against two divisions was debated previously, (Next Season). I understand that that the majority of members voted for two divisions at the AGM. The members are prepared to give it a chance so less negativity.

the comitees votes swung it for two leagues the established teams wanted one league playing each other 4 or 5 times a season is cr-p how can anyone enjoy a season when u only play 5 other teams,do teams enjoy this? i think not

Do you know what casualsblud and scottish3, if I was a committee member I would suggest the committee resign en bloc, return all the trophies and the league's credit balance to the County FA, AND STUFF THE LOT OF YOU MOANING GITS.

I was asked to come out of retirement to play for a division 1 side this season but i for one don't think theres anythin worth playin for. OK there are competitions for awards, but its competed for by only a small number of teams and that's just borin. I used to play for kennett kenford in bury league but did play in this league a few years ago back when the league was alot bigger. now you have hardly any teams and no pitches and rely on village sides. The name change from thetford league to the current name was proof enuff that the area is dying and why players and clubs end up in other local leagues.

u are right ice wot is to play for who says one of the division 2 sides wouldnt have caused upsets we are playing robot football league and its not rite . Thetfords best team beat 5 teams not 11 the 2 league system is sh-t and not worthy

As I previously said every one is free to have their say on the Forum and I do respect all opinions. But please get the facts correct. Having checked my notes made at the AGM I find that of the eleven member clubs present, (Barcelona Rangers were absent) 7 voted for and 4 against to trial two divisions this season. As a simply majority is only required it did not require the votes of the five officers pressent to 'swing' the vote in favour; although all five were in favour.

As a guess, with those figures I'm betting the seven who voted for 2 divisions MOST of them were current division 2 teams who didn't fancy playin the best sides. But i suppose that dont matter, the fact still remains that if i were to start a team up (but b4 u ask, no i'm not interested in doin so) i wouldnt be able to find sumwhere 2 play in thetford, and i wudnt fancy joinin a league with 2 divisions of SIX! If you are goin to have to travel out of thetford to play coz of no pitch, you may as well play in the south norfolk league or bury. just my opinion of corse.

Lets get the season finished first and see how it goes then perhaps instead of moaning about it on here ,when the agm comes up it can be discussed.Like everything in life you have to give it a try.
