Re: 2 leagues!
It would appear that ICE NIGHTS has an agenda to belittle the efforts of the few who, at the very least, cannot be faulted for their commitment in their attempt to keep local Sunday football available for those who do enjoy a game on a Sundy morning.
If ICE NIGHTS has some ideas on how to reverse the decline of Sunday football across the country (yes country not county) and how to preasure local authorities to make available areas for pitches, perhaps he would like to share them with the County FA's. They, along with leagues, continue to explore every avenue, just as I'm sure, the BADSFL committee do, to encourage people to organise and commit themselves to providing 'Football'.
I was a member of the committee and can remember the time when some 20 or more teams were involvled. A couple of the present committee was on the committee then and I know that at least one of them devotes a lot of time and thought on how to attract more teams.
You will gather ICE NIGHTS that I'm beginning to get p***ed off with your continued unhelpful comments. Credit to Biscuitman for not deleting your posts and sticking to his word that anyone can rant about anything.

Re: 2 leagues!
touchy touchy i dont blame the league for the town not havin any pitches, of course not, but it is disapointing when i remember playin up barnham common in the early 90s and now look at the amount of pitches there r. the name change for the league just signalled to me that as a league they have given up hope of returnin to the days of pitches aplenty!! I don't care about the rest of the country, just thetford. the league may just be realistic, which is fine, but i just think two divisions of 6 is a big shame.
I am still a fan of local teams, i have plenty of mates who play for quite a few of the teams, but i also have friends from thetford who play in other leagues (like i did as well) so get to here both sides of the story.
carry on being p*ssed off with me, but perhaps your pashion towards me wud be better served in helpin the league!!!

Re: 2 leagues!
I'm sure committee members have been reading your comments. All I have to say is ............ We do our best and will continue in our efforts to attract more teams ...... BUT, as the Town Council refused the FA's offer to develope Barnham Common; providing more pitches within the Town boundaries is unlikely.
Keep on expressing your opinions ... that's what the forum is for.

Re: 2 leagues!
Just so Lawman0059 doesn't have a mental breakdown over my negative comments, I will show i've NOT got an "agenda" against the league by saying I'm impressed to see that the problem with teams having to REF there own games seems to have been sorted out from when i last played in the league. that was a joke when teams were expected to ref there own games since most teams would cheat. now tho u have a ref for every game... probably a plus side for only having six games to cover instead of 12!! ooops that sounded like a dig... it wasnt meant to be since it wud defo seem there are more refs than there are games so if there were more games i'm sure they wud also be covered!!!

Re: 2 leagues!
having played against one of the 2nd division teams last sunday , i would say that they would not of struggled against any of the top teams this season and would of given a good account of themselves as also i saw the results of other ties where the games were close and could of gone either way may be one league would of been better but lets just crack on and enjoy the game one league or two leagues is no matter to the people who just want turn up on a sunday and have an enjoyable game of football you are still doing what you want and that is getting a structured match well refereed with the majority playin a sporting game
