Teddy's Bid For The FA Vase
How refreshing will it be to see a football great do away with retirement and lace up his boots in a bid to get his hands on the FA Vase.
Who would bet against 43-year-old Teddy Sheringham having the guile to take the Reds all the way to Wembley?
He will bring with him a bit of glamour and bucket loads of publicity - what more could Beckenham Town and the Vase want?
It would be quite a story if he was to lift the Vase some ten years after winning the FA Cup with Manchester United under the Twin Towers.
