Re: WELCOME TO BROADSWORD BOY FORUM!!!! Yes it has been very sunny. I live in Escondido so the heat all collects. My only problem with it is that I take the bus to work and walking around in the heat sucks.
You know sunscreen will help with the sunburn.

Re: WELCOME TO BROADSWORD BOY FORUM!!!! LOL! Spoken like a true fellow geek. I'm down in La Mesa, which is the closest to Con that I've ever been, so I understand the desire to be as close as possible to it. Yay for less traffic and not having to wake up an hour earlier to get down there!

We like to gp to breakfest at a little restaurant on Island (I don't remember the cross street) it's like the only real restaurant open at 7am that's walking distance from the convention center. Getting there early doesn't bug me. Even though it means to get parking that we like we leave by 6am. Last year we parked in the structure across from the ballpark and it was great.
If we had the serious splurge money we'd stay at the Omni; alas if we had that we'd own a condo and have no issues.
