Re: School Bites - Xmas Cherri Creeper Costume - In The Works! LOL It amazes even me hun! I don't know where I find the energy but something sure as heck drives me! LOL
I'll be posting more progress pics of this costume soon. I'd say the costume is about hmmmmm 80% finished and this one so far has been ENTIRELY done by hand.
The other costumes I may actually use the sewing machine since they are a bit more complicated but we'll see. Depends on how irritated I get using the machine. LOL

Re: School Bites - Xmas Cherri Creeper Costume - In The Works! By hand....I don't think I sew anything by hand other than buttons or appliques. Wowzas! How did you get the bustier/bodice front to have that form, if you sewed it be hand? I assumed you had machine-sewed mega-uber-darts-of-doom...

*hangs head* Actually I cheated a little and that's a strapless push up bra you see under the fabric that's been stitched and fabric glued to it. I figured form and ummmmm *looks at chest* function.
Adjust and measure the fabric a bit, stitch on additional hooks in the back, sew the bottom edge to make a nice seam and well...tada? LOL
