Ok I finally got around to putting up the 2 pics of the Cherri Creeper Ballerina Costume. I've had this top finished for a while, just hadn't had the chance to take pics of it.

The first one is just the top

And the second one is me with it on.

And as you can see, I haven't had the chance yet to get the ruffles on. But you get the general idea.

I'll post more when I have a moment. Right now I've got prints and artwork to deal with. So ta ta kitten kats!

Posted this last night before bed on my LJ but I thought I'd post it here too since I know some of you are wondering what's happening with these costumes that I am working.

WOOT!! WOOT!! You have nooooooo idea how much hunting and searching I did to locate the perfect slippers for my Cherri Creeper Ballerina costume. Oh....my...god! Ok first I have to tell you a quick lead up as to why I'm so totally freaking excited, so you'll understand.

Back when I first started working on the creeper costumes, Eric and I had gone to Sears Essentials to pick up Zack's prescriptions at the Pharmacy. We had a bit of a wait so we walked around a bit to kill some time. I passed the socks area that also had slippers and about freakin died when I saw satin slippers! They had a pair that was THE...PERFECT...COLOR...MATCH to the fabric I had for the ballerina costume. Unfortunately to my dismay they didn't have a pair in my size. (I have 'ittle feet, only 5.5) But I didn't give up and I kept returning and checking when they got new stock in, in hopes to find a pair in my size. In between that I regularly prowled eBay looking for them on there as well. (Can't you tell I'm the type of woman that knows what she wants! LOL!)

Nothing is more frustrating then KNOWING that something is out there that is EXACTLY what you're looking for and you've seen it with your own two eyes but not be able to find it anywhere!

So I decided before I was going to slunk off to bed for the night, to finish up my cup of coffee and check eBay again. I found lots of the satin slippers of the style I wanted BUT not in the color I wanted.

Until I came across !THIS!!!!

SQUEEEEEEEEE!! AND in my size!!! You can so bet your sweet little tushy SIN snap those suckers up in a heartbeat!! I almost spit my freakin' coffee out all over my moniter when I saw it AND saw that it was a Buy It Now!!! I so totally loathe auctions, I like buy it and get it, period.

I already have the white thigh high stockings so I figure with the slippers I would just need to add pretty lt. blue ribbon to lace up the leg. OOOOOooooo!! I so can NOT wait for them to get in!!! When they do I'm going to put the ribbon on the slippers and then put on the stockings with the slippers to take a pic to show the combination off! SQUEEEE!!!!

All that's left now for that costume is finish up the skirt and I still need to make Anarchy Bunny!

Ya I know, I'm a geek but I am totally on cloud 9 right now!

Ok so now I'm off to work on both costumes and get you guys more picys! emoticon Yup I'm putting it into high gear.

Oh and Holly there's another creeper costume coming too! emoticon hehe! LOVES YA!!! <3 <3 *SCURRIES OFF*
