Spell question
I have been on the path for about two years now, but practing the craft for about 7 months.
Earlier this week I got suddenly ill after casting a spell. I felt light headed and had that feeling I needed to get to the sink. When I came back to my room, I felt dizzy so I layed down for a bit. I thought I might be actually getting the flu.
But it went as quickly as it came. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

I experienced something similar to that years ago when I was doing personal power meditations. I had an ex that got the coven I had left to do the old childish "witch wars" on me along with him stalking me. So my way of dealing with that was to sever all ties with everyone in the coven and change my patterns of where I hung out so that he could not stalk me as easily anymore. As far as the magick side of things I focused on raising my energy and surrounding myself with love and combining that with protection.
One night I was doing this when I got sucked in a scenario, it was like I was taken somwhere else, another scene altogether. I was seeing in tunnel vision and when it finally stopped I saw a bright purple light and heard a pop. I came back to so to speak and felt like throwing up it made me so sick. It lasted about ten minutes and then the sickness was gone.
Come to find out I was tunneling, or astral projecting, and didn't realize it. Being I was not used to that type of energy change I got sick, as it has happened to other friends that have experienced OBE's.
So my long drawn out story is now going to circle back to you. My theory is that you probably put so much energy into what you were doing (ie: Intent, focus, and emotion) that your body was not used to that type of energy transfer. The good thing about that is in time, once you get used to putting so much "umph" into your rituals, the more your body gets used to it, the less you will get that sick sensation.
