Yeah more like sideshow's premium format figures. Bowen is more towards 1/8th scale which is "ok" but is more "toy-ish" where we are approaching Tarot as a museum quality collectable... as a fine art piece.

She is going to be made here in our studio, as opposed to overseas, so she will be of greater value and quality...

Our Bloodrayne statue was 1/8th scale and gave us some headaches because of the small size especially when it came down to painting to details... never the less she has already gone double in price in the after market.

So Tarot will surely do much better...

1/4th scale has more presence and will command a higher after-market value...

Plus she is WAY cooler at this size- trust me! We are able to do much more then with the smaller scales... emoticon

Ok, a few questions:

1. How large of a production run is there going to be on the Tarot statue? No need for exact numbers of course, but it would be nice to know whether or not fans will have a good chance of getting one, or have to pay a ridiculous price on Ebay later.

2. What is the price range going to be?

3. When is it going to be available for at least a pre-order?

I'll do it! No one else has yet and you hinted at it in the newsletter...

Hey Claudio! How about Pooka? emoticon

Are they all going to be done in house? So each piece will be painted here in the states (or wherever your studio is) instead of China?

I'm curious about Price range and edition size too if there are any thoughts on that yet.

Hi- sorry I just got this now. Run board isn't giving notices of replies... emoticon

1) Around 200 statues. Fans will be the first to know about the statue so my hope is that they will be the first to get one. I don't like ebay personally so I want the true fans to get first dibs as I know Jim and Holly would as well... we only make stuff for fans whenever we do a statue. We are in it for the love of it not for money. emoticon

2) Not sure yet...

3) We won't be doing pre-orders(in the sense that we won't be accepting any money upfront) as we will be making these in batches. What we can do is have a waiting list that we can contact once batches become available. We won't accept any money until they are ready to ship basically. We will contact people on the waiting list once they become available.

We are redoing the site as we speak so I believe we will have an order form you can fill out that will put you in line but you won't be charged until you are contacted and give the OK. This gives people a chance to change their mind etc...

Sincerely,
Claudio

I'd like to put Pooka on the base which was part of Jim;s design. One of My black cat;s just passed on so I'd like to have Pooka on there in his honour...

We are in Canada---BRRR! :P

Yes we are doing everything here in-house so it will be a true wok of art n not some cheap mass produced toy. I think Jim's art deserves this kind of attention personally...

also we are representing the Wiccan Religion so it is important to treat it respectfully...

Around 200 pieces. Not sure exactly about the price range right now... sorry emoticon

Claudio

personally, if I could work with Jim and Holly all my life I would be happy! They are the most talented, respectful, patient and kind people I have had the pleasure to work with yet... besides I'd like to sculpt a Boo Cat for myself!

All the characters are great (especially Boo!)! emoticon

I'm in love with her! emoticon
