Avatars- To add an avatar:
Go to "CONTROL PANEL"
Select :"MISCELLANEOUS SETTINGS"
The first choice is avatar, it must be URL to a site you own, or have permission to hotlink.
For example, I used
http: //www.owebooks/image/avatar.jpg (no spaces)
That will make your pic appear below your screen name.
To get items below your postings.. is the "SIGNATURE" area.
There you will use URLs links as well, but to get them to appear you need
[ img ] imagename.jpg [ /img] (no space)s.
MAKE SURE YOU SAVE YOUR CHANGES!

Re: Avatars- You could use any image, as long as it's the right size ( I THINK it's 60x60) and you have to credit the artist (if you know who it is) for the work in your sig.
