Heavy Metal Heroes
Hi this is my idea for a comic it was inspired by Brutal Legends video game, Metalocalypse cartoon,Metal album covers and Norse myths.
It's about a secret history of Earth music and Heavy Metal, it all started in middle ages when the Norse mean started to setle down there Skalds became Bards, you know how in D&D the Bard class could do msytical music and cast spells with there Lutes. These type of Lutes were handmade and mystical propities due to the skills of the Bard, these singers and players protected the people from evil and there creatures as well but enter the Church.
The Church didn't like the bard so they created what would be classical music, the first reaction to this mystical music that couldn't be stopped or controled.
Now in 1950's when Elvis did his fist live show on TV he was given a first of it's kind a mystical Guitar made by a modern desendant of a Bard and was born the mystical Electric Guitar that never needs to pluged in to play or be heard,
Since the 50's world goverments have kept track of Rock music to try to lessen the mysitcal effects by creating Pop, that all changed in 70's when Metal music was first came onto the seen. They discover it was the most powerful form of magical music due to it's wild plusing rythim, so these goverment groups tried to create counter music groups such as Glam Metal, New Wave Pop, and finally Boy and Girl Pop groups. What they didn't count on the fact Metal Music involed like the common cold,
