Good stuff as usual.

The encounter with the mother and the preacher was interesting. The woman was of course wrong to be so close-minded, but it was nice to see a preacher showing tolerance and understanding.

I was actually a little surprised, that Tarot was so surprised, to meet a preacher that was actually NOT a bigot. Has she actually become so poisoned against mainstream religion? She'll have to watch that. Prejudice is a two way trap.

The Spellarella story was a lot of fun. I enjoyed that.

Well, it is surprising to meet a member of the clergy (Roman Catholic, at that) who is tolerant of Witches, especially nowadays when so many are being "religious isolationists". Although, Catholics would be the ones who'd be more accepting because of their own mythology, for lack of a better term ATM.

Re: Tarot #37 In stores!!!!

I liked the Tarot story. I am indifferent to the Spellerella story to be honest. The art was cute as always, but overall, i would've preferred more Tarot than having Spellerella. To each their own, eh?

About the Tarot story. I LOVED that the catholic priest was the one who defended Tarot. It was a very pleasant surprise as i was expecting it to go the opposite way. I actually loaned that specific issue to a Catholic freind who thought it was great. He thought it was more accurate to show NOT ALL Christians are close-minded and thought Tarot was great for not giving up on people and continuing to help them even when they would prefer that she die or "burn in hell". I quote, "Tarot represents the true spirit of what Jesus taught by her actions than the christian mother."

People like him rock! emoticon
