Re: Witch Key Girl's Lounge Yeah, we have that wierd moisture falling from the sky thing out here in San Diego today as well. It started at 3am, and hasn't let u (it's now 2:30pm), which made me one soaking wet witch this morning during work. But I secretly love the rain. Yay for all witchy gals, but especially the witch key ladies! I can't wait to see all of you (maybe some I'd recognize from previous issues?) when 47 ships out.

Funny thing.... So I go and read Holly's bulletin via MySpace about this forum, on which I hadn't realized. (Woooo! I love messageboards!) I then read that the comic was already out! (Double woooo!) So I call my local comic book shop and ask Bubba, "So do you have my order of Tarot in yet?"...
You can hear the sly grin on his face through the phone. "Yeeeeeees"
"I can't wait to see what I look like! I am drawn in there this month!"
"Yeeeees. You are in there more than once you know, you are in the back as a Broadsword girl."
(Totally forgetting about the other thing Holly mentioned to me)
"Am I naked?"
I swear the grin I "heard" a moment ago got bigger and his voice got slyer!...
"Yeeeeeeesssss"
"So does it look good?"
"OH YEEEEEESSSSS"
*laughs* So I grabbed my husband and drove down to the shop as they were closing. I reserved three copies, one of each cover and one for my husband to take to work and show off because I knew he would! We get to the shop and Scott is all excited (he is the main one that works there that I always shared my Tarot love with) and is VERY chatty about me being in the comic.
He was looking through the comic when they came in and was pleasantly surprised and made sure that Bubba (and I am sure every other guy I know that goes there as well) saw the back. He then devised a plan with my husband to laminate the page and charge guys to look at it as if it is in one of those peep show booths! What turds!
I then call my best friend who actually took that picture and who got me into ferrets and told her to go pick up an issue tomorrow! I told her one of my babies was in there too! (My ferret Marduk... Woooo!)
Thank you Holly and Jim so much! That was so awesome to see myself drawn (BRAVO it looks AWESOME!) and to see me as a Broadsword girl AND giving kudos to the ferrets! Wooooo! You two made my day!!! My husband told me that if I was a dog my tail would be wagging like crazy! Granted I am a little grossed out by all my buddies making jokes about seeing ALL of me and what guys do....but beside that ickiness that was MAJORLY cool!
