I'm all up for the idea of getting a WK tatt (as soon as I get the funds, and find a good parlor around here). My only dillemnia with this is that I don't know where to get it (on my body). I have a PNW tribal orca on my upper back, and will be getting at least one more tattoo in addition to the witch key one. I need it to be in a place that won't be growing and shrinking as I lose and gain weight (like my hips or boobs), and a place that is easily concealable for work (so...discreet). Any suggestions? I don't really want other tattoos competing with my orca tatt on my back...I'm such a tatt newb sometimes. Any advice is greatly appreciated! emoticon

Oh! Get one of the mermaids from the cover to go with your orca! hehehehe emoticon

I wanna do the tattoo too and I think I'd want it on my upper arm, up by my shoulder. emoticon

How about one in UV ink? It's undetectable in normal light and you can have it in conjuction with any other tat..... emoticon

LOL..get a whole "undersea" theme going on? emoticon Maybe I'll get it on an ankle, and then have the Black Rose Coven symbol on my other ankle, to balance things out.
UV ink? Hrmm..but then I'd never get to see it! (without a black light) emoticon
What do you guys think about a woman getting a simple tatt like that on the bicep/shoulder? Is it too masculine, or can a plump woman pull it off? (be honest- I'll have this tatt forever!) Thanks! emoticon

I wouldn't say a woman having a tattoo on her bicep is masculine. The more important part is getting it where YOU like it emoticon One of the coolest women I know has a complete sleeve on her right arm, its amazing artwork and she looks just right with it.

Erm...hello! I've missed quite a bit here on the forum, but I thought I would drop in and say hi to all of my lovely Witch Key sisters. I'm a bit shy about meeting new people so please excuse me while I adjust. I've never really done a forum thing before either. I do have a myspace page if anyone wants to say hello. It's also under "Scarfed Witch" or you can look me up by name. To answer an earlier question I saw, I just cut up one of my hippie skirts, and wrapped on of my fav scarfs around me with some choice accessories for my costume. Half of my stuff is in boxes so I had to think quick with what I had. I also think the tattoo idea is very sweet. I was thinking of something like the inside of my right wrist (palm side). My girlfriend just got a tatt in that location and I really liked the way it looked. Anywhoo... merry meet and I look forward to chatting. Hugs and Kisses!
