Re: San Diego Comic Con 2006? Surely he was nice enough to continue to sell to pagans or goth looking people. I met him at Mega-Con a few years ago and he was very nice to me. Was he asked about his politics or did someone just ask him?

He did sell to pagans and goths alike but he and his staff looked really grumpy. In regards to pushing his views in 2004 I don't know if someone else had started it or not. I know that I didn't ask him anyhting that would provoke it.
Last year I think it was maybe just being uncomfortable at the sheer number of us flowing around his booth. It could be that there were more people actually stopping at the Broadsword booth than his. I don't know.
Again it was just an observation. Maybe I read into things but, my husband is pretty level headed about everything and he saw something in it, too.
Here's hoping that the world becomes more tolerant and everyone begins to love their neighbors.
Re: San Diego Comic Con 2006? What I need is for the SoCalBrowncoats booth to be next to/behind the Broadsword booth. Then I can just bring a chair and camp out all day there. owlchilde- will you be cosplaying at all this year?
Holly and Jim- Any chance you guys will come out for the Labyrinth of Jareth (July 15th, in Hollywood) the week before Comic Con? David and I would totally carpool with ya! Can't wait to see everyone at Con this year!

Re: San Diego Comic Con 2006? I am so not in shape to Cosplay. Maybe next year, I'd like to go as Fujiko. Plus this year we are entertaining a friend from out of town (we never met her in person she's an online friend so I don't want to freak her out.) So we are pretty much letting her call the shots since we go to Con alot more than she does. She's only ever been once for one day, so we are doing Friday-Sunday with her. Depending on what's going on with work I'm going to try to do my floor day on Thursday.

Re: San Diego Comic Con 2006? I'm a bit on the self conscious side. But I'll see what I can do.
Only 36 days to go
Unfortunately I know I won't be there for the preview night.
