Re: Welcome to your new forum!
Have you guys checked out the new Red Sonja comic? If so what do you think of it and will you two ever do a cover for it?

Re: Welcome to your new forum!
I noticed that Catwoman had a couple different costumes during your run. Did you make the changes or did DC ask you to change it?

Re: Welcome to your new forum!
I decided to change my question....again!
Jim, I find that when I'm writing, the type of music I listen to helps me keep to the tone of my story or sometimes even influences it. Example: a slow, sad song when a character of reminicing of a lost love, etc. Do you do this when writing?

Re: Welcome to your new forum!
Jim ,
Q: What years were you working on Catwoman at DC?
The reason I asking because I am still out there hunting down back issues , it will give me some idea of how many I got left to collect .
Thanks

Re: Welcome to your new forum!
Jim,
Fred doesn't know this one - he says he will find out .
I am a big Lady Death fan too-( who isn't)
I have seen alot of Jim's Lady Death works in a few issues , I got .
Besides Lady Death ,"of course Catwoman " and the current Red Sonja - have you done any other comic book heroines .
DarkDream
( this is just a thought , I don't know about everyone else- ( the Teen Titan's Raven- I have wrote to DC , time and time again stating if they got the right people ( Jim Balent and Holly ) that Raven could be the next Lady Death (a big seller in other words- but who am I , the same guy who hounded them about bringing Supergirl back and Phathom Lady too). And I didn't use my wife's crystal ball either.

Re: Welcome to your new forum!
I've got a question a few of my friends & I were wondering.
How seriously do you take your work? At times your comic is undeniably silly, so I'm guessing that you must have one TERRIFIC sense of humor.
The reason I ask is because there's so many writers (both comic & novel) that take their works way too seriously. Like if you dare say "hey, that was kinda too silly even for me", they get all up in arms like you suggested peeing on the Bible or something. Your comics make me think that you're the type of guy that'd go "yeah it was silly, but be honest... you laughed right? You're still reading to see what I do next, right? That's all that matters- that you got the comic on some level".
So yeah... do you take yourself seriously or are you the type that is willing to laugh at yourself once in a while? A bunch of my friends & I were reading your comic & wondering which type you were. We figured that you'd be the awesome type!

Re: Welcome to your new forum!
ooo- sorry for the lul- I had surgery and needed to get Tarot 59 done...then there was Halloween!!
okay... here are some answers...I hope they help...
Neko...I guess Jim and I are kinda like proud parents to our art...sooo don't think we're wacko weird like you said some people get- but we care very much about our work...but if we didn't have fun- neither would you...so- ya gotta have fun with your kids...ya know!
Mad D- Jim is 6'3" and I'm 5'6"...
DD6- Jim's done a bunch of gal characters...Purgaturi-Vampirella-scametar to name a couple-...and Jim listens to KISS and movie sound tracks like Conan...we also listen to movie commentaries when we work.
