Re: Are you ever tempted to go back to working for DC or Marvel? "Maestro premia" is the work for which an artist is most recognized, his/her masterpiece. Maestro premia translated means "master's premise or choice" The copyright crack was that he should give up copyrighting and just give away his concepts. In the same vein as Goblin's joke, just not as funny or as widely appreciated.
Re: Are you ever tempted to go back to working for DC or Marvel? ofcourse not....what I was saying is that they would not have used BAD art...the rapists only took good stuff...
PS I never saw any of your (Jim and you I mean) art being misued before...do you want to share some examples? And can we help in any way?
If it is a comicbook-ripoff we can email the editors and harass them a bit and if it is an unlicensed use for artwork or even sold on Ebay (Frank Cho also has loads of troubles in that department) then we can email the semi-artist or even Ebay and complain...
Re: Are you ever tempted to go back to working for DC or Marvel? We have TONS of trouble like that!
Our groovy readers and our fierce Lawyer, Diane, keeps an eye out for us...
Re: Are you ever tempted to go back to working for DC or Marvel? I agree with Rich-
How can we help? What is considered illegal in this scope, exactly? People pirating your images? Or doing so without listing you as the artists? *is curious*

Re: Are you ever tempted to go back to working for DC or Marvel? Copyright infringement is tricky. Just look at the lawsuit Marvel launched against Aurora programmers for the customization engine that "could" allow ripoffs to b made in the game.
If I find anyone stealing Jim, Holly, Merri's work; I would notify u immediately. I would probably also scare the knickers off of 'em, but that is a personal choice
