European Elections

Can I please urge all of you in the UK to use your vote tomorrow. We are in serious danger of the BNP getting in by the back door due to people's apathy and disillusionment with the current political parties. I don't care who you vote for as long as it's not BNP. Keep the numbers up and their percentage down. I know it's hard to find anyone to have faith in but even a local independent who has little chance is better than abstaining. I got a choice of 13 and it was really hard as I didn't particularly like any of them.
BNP - death to foreigners - nope.
Christian Alliance - death to heretics - nope.
Conservatives - death to poor people - nope.
Green Party - death to four wheel drive owners - nope.
And so on ... but in the end I did pick (I'm on postal voting so did it last week).
The consequences of abstaining are too terrifying to contemplate.

Re: European Elections

You are so right Chrissie,

It is hard to vote for the self serving, lying scum that offer themselves up for public service these days.

Mandelson as Deputy Prime Minister, or whatever his poxy title is now, a lying cheating discredited swine and we the citizens allow him to be a Lord and run our country! I suppose we get what we deserve due to our varying levels of apathy.

Brown, the Pensions thief, is grasping at straws now!

The choice was very difficult but my postal (vote when it suits you) vote was counted.

Fi, due to a lack of bullying from yours truly, couldn't be bothered to even open the envelope!

The apathy party would always win if the non cast votes went automatically to them!

 emoticon

Ohhhhh, I feel a bit better for that rant! emoticon emoticon emoticon
