as the lead in the big screen adaptation of his favourite book, because
a less talented actor would have killed his enthusiasm for the novel.

PHILIP K ****'s A SCANNER DARKLY as his number one tome.
He says, "I was a little scared when I saw they were making
it into a movie starring Keanu.
"But I guess if he can handle THE MATRIX, he can do this."
