Re: Anyway I can help, I'm here...
Hahahaha! That must be a common thing, trying to dissuage people from becoming entertainers. I do it too!
There's nothing like learning from an experienced showman. One of my dance teachers was an long-time performer, the military circuit and the Catskills. She was nearing seventy, and still able to teach classes. Apparently she's still teaching. There was such a huge difference between her method of teaching and the younger women. People didn't like taking her classes. . . because they were hard. Dance has started drifting from more difficult footwork to precision line stuff, more athletics than artistry, so the girls that were stars in all the other classes couldn't hack it in something that required real rhythm. There was also a different ethic learning from someone who'd come from that background. The goal wasn't to make a whole lot of money. The goal was to do what you love. It saddens me that mindset is dying out.

Re: Anyway I can help, I'm here...
Thank you slim, I am holding off on the sideshow for right now. I am more concentrating on my school, and well, unicycling is another great thing I have picked up and still learning. But when I am out of school and have more free time to conecentrate on sideshow performing, I will almost for sure be seeking professional help when the day comes.
