Thanks for the info! I'm checking out the site right now. This should help me alot about learning the history and other aspects of the sideshow. I'm going to Chapter's later today to see if I can find any of the books that you suggested.
Is your show in North Bay going to feature more than your Sudbury performance? I can't make it to the Thunder Bay show to see all the extras that didn't make it to Rafter's. I might be able to get to the North Bay show if my schedule provides.

Books.....
If you are ever in Toronto...go down Queen St. W
towards MuchMusic, there is a book store called 'Pages' one block west of John St.
FYI-MuchMusic is on Queen and John St.
You will find ALOT of books on Sideshow and subversive culture. Also look online.
OH! AAAAAnd...there is one book I think EVERYONE should read...it is called-
'GEEK LOVE' written by Katherine Dunn.
This is a piece of fiction...but one HELL of a tale!
Also, another GREAT book to read that weaves a sordid tale of the world of Sideshow is-
'Something Wicked This Way Comes' written by Ray Bradbury.
These 2 books are easier to find...and a MUST READ for any Sideshow fan and lover!
Keep searching...there is a world out there yet to be discovered.

 Hey Slim!
YES...it seems that egos are a brewin on your chat right now. I have been fascinated with how its all been played out. In under a week 2 of the greats of the industry have come to life and begun to air their dirty laundry! But that is one of the things I like about your site...the pros let their gaurd down...and sometimes show their 'not-so-perfect-side'.
It is also a good reality check, none of us can ACT totally profesional at times. EGO is a funny thing, and when it gets bruised we can ALL act like children. Noone is perfect...not even the Big Stars.
Personally, this is one of the reasons I like this industry...it proves that the strong will survive...but that also means that we are dealing with HUMONGOUS EGOS! You gotta believe in your self and your product in this industry or you can get eaten alive. Everyone has an opinion and that is what makes us unique individuals.
And so, for fans of sideshow...if you want to know the opinion of the pros log onto Slims site...his url is in the post above me!
Ohhh, what a tangled web we weave......

It was mostly a picture book and I read through it in about 15 minutes. I couldn't find anything. I guess I'm gonna have to order the books. I can order "Seeing is Believing" and "memoirs of a Sword Swallower", but I can't even get "Freaks,Geeks, and Strange Girls". On the brighter side, I bought myself a new tattoo magazine
