I did too at one time. Hated it so much that I live in a ****tier place then I could, just so I can afford to have my car out here. Don't worry though, the old places were ****ty too

Re: Have you ever witnessed something Inexplicable?
So....I was at work yeah? Kinda like now. And I had this super late chek-in (I currently work at a hotel/resort in case you're haivng trouble keeping track. this is number 3) So they showed up, and were kinda grumpy and stuff, and I was surprised because they were coming straight from their wedding, and usually those couples are all gooey and slushy, but they were grumpy...what was I saying? Oh yeah
So i check them in all çongratulations! and they're both all mmph, and then all of a sudden the groom asks me if there's any place in town that would still be open to deliver. It was 3am, and this is a small town, sooo I said no, but tried a few places to make sure. Then the bride kinda whined something to her new husband that I didn't catch, and he did this big huffy toddler thing, and asked if we have vending machines. I said no. we dont, because my boss thinks they're tacky. They asked me what was open, I said 7/11 and Tim Hortons. They grumbled about not being able to drive bc they'd been drinking, adn I offered to call them a cab but for some reason that was a no go too. So for a few minutes they stood around staring in opposite directions, until the bride whined that she was starving and the groom like LOST it.
They had this huge screaming match in the middle of the lobby about how she wanted something to eat, and he just wanted to go to sleep, and then something about her wedding dress being filthy, which I guess it was. And it all ended with the groom yelling, 'we've been married for ten minutes and I already want a divorce!' and the bride storming out of the front doors to walk to Timmy's in her wedding gown.
..yeh...that was kinda weird, also - longer than I expected.

Re: Have you ever witnessed something Inexplicable?
And you can too, I've seen it. GAWSH. besides, it just takes practice. My brother is a stellar artist, but every time he comes home he's talking about something new he's finally got right. This time is was loose fabric on women...and I was wondering why all his previous girls were either naked or dressed like hookers.
Which remindes me...my brother is going to be the next great comic creator, so look for that. Watch out Stan Lee, Move over Frank Miller, here comes...well, I'm not about to tell you his name now am I?

Re: Have you ever witnessed something Inexplicable?
I'm new to the forum and saw this post and something just made me register and reply. I've never really spoken about it but I've encountered a lot of things listed on this forum. I assure all of you I'm quite sane, as sane as a person can be anyways but I've had a lot of strange things that I just can't explain happen to me throughout my life.
#1 - The street light thing. I had that very thing happen to me for about 5 years when I lived in the riverdale area of Toronto. I could never explain it and it always kind of tripped me out. Happened at least 3 times a week. I never thought it was something widely known or even studied, but I'm going to look into it.
#2 - I remember as a child I grew up in an apartment building and I used to get flash images of things when I would glance. This hasn't happened since I was a child but I always had the same image. I for whatever reason loved to play in the doorway of my apartment, my mother said it was too unsafe to leave and that was the closest I could ever go to being "outside" on my own. I'd play with my toy cars and race them up and down the door sill's. For some strange reason I would glance now and then to my left and I would see a fireman in his full set of equipment down the hallway at a neighbor's apartment throwing water down the hall. For some reason as a child it never ever frightened me and I still can't figure out why, 3 years later just before we moved there was a fire in that apartment and it got burnt to a crisp. We had smoke damage everywhere in the hallways. I always found that to be strange.
#3 - I met my wife when I was 16, her mother was sick when I met her, kidney problems. Half way through our first year together her mom got a transplant and everything was going well she was recovering then for whatever reason her body started to reject the kidney and she ended up back in the hospital. We had talked for about 3 months about having a child. I know I know we were very young but we just felt it was the right time and we were the right people so we started to try. After one afternoon of us "having fun" we sat there and we both had the strangest feeling. We couldn't explain it, neither of us had felt it before but we definetly felt the same thing.
A few minutes go by and as we're getting dressed the phone rang and it was her uncle, said to come to the hospital as soon as possible. My wife obviously paniced assuming the worst. He assured her that everything was fine. He said her mother wanted to see her. We head to the hospital, I come for support - This was normal for us. When we arrived he took her into a seprate room and told her flat out that her mother had died. She collapsed to the floor with a scream I'll never forget. To this day it sends chills up my spine.
It wasn't until about 2 weeks later that we found out she was pregnant. We went to the doctor who told us the date that we most likely would have concieved, and you guessed it... It was the day her mother died, and even more strange was the fact that we concieved our first child within seconds of her mothers death. My wife believes there's a link, I'm not sure but very strange.
#4 - About 1 year later my wife and I who lived at the time with my family slept in my room on the third floor of the house. We had the place to ourselves for the weekend as my mother was at her boyfriends place and my uncle was out partying as he normally did. We both, while awake distinctly heard something going up the stairs to our room. We obviously were shaken by it, the steps could be heard approaching our door. The door creaked open about an inch, we saw absoultly nothing in the door, we then heard the steps back away and go back down the stairs and then silence. Probably the most terrifying experience of my life.
Anyways, I know this was a long post sorry for those who aren't interested in reading. I know all of this sounds very strange, too strange almost for any 1 person to have encountered. I guess I'm just prone to these kinds of things. I pray that I never ever see a ghost or hear a ghost though. I don't think I could handle it as the idea is absoultly terrifying to me. I thought I would share my strange experiences with you and hope to read some more on this forum.
