 Girls, Lulu needs your help!
Hey all, well I rarely get time to post on the site anymore, but I swear I've been trying!!! This time though I have a bit of an altearior motive. For those who dont know, I have been working on a little music project over the summer, before going into sideshow I was a singer, so I thought it would be good to take a summer away from the twinkly lights of the midway, and jump into the gross murky waters that is the popular entertainment business *shudders*.
Now to where all you gals can come in. I need letters, scripts, poetry, anything, describing pain from cutting, and/or pain or distress from abuse from that evil other species we share the planet with. Please not this is NOT for a song glorifying cutting or depression, its about awareness and expression. I decided to ask others for submissions because I feel it should not be just my writing involved, as there are SO many voices that need to be heard. Not everything will be used, but I will let you know if I use your piece, and you will get full credits, and a copy of the ep aswell. A great resource would be MySpace. I see a lot of blogs from foo-fee goth types, but some of it is simply fantastic and along the lines your described.
There is a Sudbury girl on there who writes some really great stuff I know she's into Diablo as well.

K...i have no poetry, but I just wanna say great idea. I've had some recent experience with a youth whose in the process of recovering from a long time addiction to cutting and it's seriously intense. I know she, for one, would sincerely appreciate the sentiment. Cutting is still a retardedly ill-acknowledged disorder. Goodonya

Thanks, I've been working on this specific song for a long time now, so I've really been putting alot into it. I plan on going into the studio tonight to finish it up, I havent recieved any submissions though  but I can always add stuff in when I'm putting the finishing touches on it so please dont think its too late.
