Re: as Christians where do you draw the line of where on the body you wont tattoo?
You make concessions or compromises for the one you love - that's part of the give and take of a healthy relationship. If you've vowed not to see her nipples before marriage, it might not be unreasonable to expect that she'd not let somebody else see and handle them either, as part of that compromise. Maybe a logical compromise would be to wait after you're married to have them pierced, and to be present when the piercing takes place. Or, as you mentioned, find a reputable female piercer.
When the compromises in a relationship become too much, that's when you've got to reconsider things.

Re: as Christians where do you draw the line of where on the body you wont tattoo?
I am amazed that some of you are applying acceptable degrees to jealousy. To me, there is NO ROOM for it in any relationship. I have tattooed breast areas as well as hip/pelvis areas but nipples and any pubic areas were discreetly covered. My wife has no problem with it. If I am getting aroused or having improper thoughts, then the sin is in MY HEART, not in what I am doing. I need to be thinking about the TATTOO and doing the best professional job I can. Body mods are a very personal thing and I consider each client differently. If some flirty 18 y.o. is just out to shove her stuff in my face I probably won't do it by MY CHOICE. But if a 30 y.o. married woman is coming in to get something kinda risky and sexy that is for her HUSBAND to enjoy then I'll gladly do that. It's all a personal choice based on our personal discretion and we all are obviously on different levels here so to each is own.

I have to agree with 8up on that one. I think each and everyoneof us have to put boundries on what we do and say and that for me would cross that. But, the Holy Ghost must convict us.
