Armor of God
has any one else thought about tattooing the armor of God as described in Ephesians on their body?

I hadn't even considered that as a tattoo...being a re-enactor and an armorsmith, i have considered crafting the "armor of God" to wear on the field, but never thought of it as a tattoo possibility. nice!

im getting a sword down my spine and i intend to get all the pieces, along the blade i have Ephesians 6:10-20 written down, i get it in a few days so when it heals a bit i'll put up some photo's

I have been thinking of this for a long time although have not put ink to skin. The depiction of the Armor of God is that of a Roman soldier in full battle dress. So the piece would require some real estate (back or calf/arm sleeve)of a battle scene with a Roman centurion extinguishing the fiery darts of the enemy. The shield was typically a water logged wooden shield with metal around it, so that when a flaming arrow was stuck in the shield it would be quickly extinguished (at least that's what I heard on a sermon once..)
Any artists in Sacramento/San Francisco want to come up with that I've got some blank canvas!

i was thinking that to hey. incorporating the armor of god with a medieval battle into a sleeve..or half a sleeve.
maybe just one knight/warrior angel with the armor of god slaying a demon.
who knows any artist who wanna design this for fun?? lol
