CBN Interview....
On this past sunday (Sept 9th) the CTA president and two staff members Brent Cohick and Rodney Taylor met with Heather Sells from the Christian Broadcasting Network (thast right, 700 club) to talk about the ministry and its goals and functions.
THis interview will air on CBN news and the 700 club sometime this month. We will know more in the next week or so about the dates but it will be sometime late September, early October.
We do hope you will tune in because it will give everyone a chance to see the CTA president and really hear what God has placed in his heart for this ministry.
So tune in and keep checking back for the air date.
You can also see the CTA on redwhiteyou.com (look for past post) and in the New York Times for an article that will be running sometime this month.
The CTA is also about to finish up the first section of its interviewing process of national tattoo artists from around the country...talking about their faith and how they feel God is working in their lives.
We are also working on the documentary still. There is a small snippet of it posted on the cta mypace pages @ www.myspace.com/churchtattoo & www.myspace.com/christiantattooassoc
Go check everything out and lets us know what you think!!
In Grace,
jayme

Re: CBN Interview....
You can actually go to the CBN site and down load the whole interview. You will have to do a search but it's easily located. Their stream is horrible but you can download it to your quicktime and play it.
It was a pretty cool interview but in the end I though that Gordon (is that his name?) gave a very "old white man's view" on tattoos. Ok - I mean a very stereotypical view on getting a tattoo. Oh yeah, the lady who was getting her tat removed because her little 3 yr old kid was questioning why she wrote on her ankle was a little silly IMO - Kids get older and have the ability to learn with age, getting a tat removed because you are in the process of teaching your kid appropriate places to write is a little far...watch the clip and you will understand...
My .02 cents.
