my new tat
This is a pic of my new (and first) tattoo! It was inked by Jay at Matrix in Barrie, Ontario Canada. It has alot of meaning to me. "Filip" is short form for "Filippenzen" which is Dutch for Philippians. The verse being Philippians 1:20 "I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death". The nails are a reminder of a missions trip I took to Missouri a couple of years ago which had a big impact on my life. And the blood drops that make the colon are important because God's covenant with us is in Christ's blood!
