Tammy Faye
I saw the promo for the Larry King show tonight with Tammy Faye and couldn't breath for a few minutes. The last time I'd see Tammy on anything she looked round and full and ready to live forever.
This is what she looks like now:
Say what you will about this woman, but my heart is going out to her. I'm not even a christain or anything, could care less for her religious views, don't wanna drink the kool-aid with her, but....
This is a woman who stands so firmly in her beliefs while still always being positive and accepting of anyone else's anything that she makes you think that if you were forced to be a christian you could do worse then to be the sort of person she is.
Sure she has her faults and her weakness, but ultimately that just makes her much more lovingly human. She's so vibrant and real and ALIVE and to see her so physically diminished while STILL being positive and "faithful"...
quote: But Tammy Faye tells Larry she knows eventually that fateful day will come, but she's okay with that. "I believe when I leave this earth -- because I love the Lord -- I'm going straight to heaven."
I think Tammy is going to heaven too.

Re: Tammy Faye
I know this is kinda late to respond to, but I have to say that that was a eulogy that probably out shined any eulogy given at her funeral. You my dear are awesome.
--- enjoy life to its fullest because it could change in the blink of an eye.
