Need some advice
OK I already know what people are going to say but I figured I should ask anyway. On my way home the other day I pulled off and decided Iwas going to get a new tattoo. Well the shop I went to turns out the only do piercings. So I figured since I was there I'd get my lip done. Well turns out it was not such a good idea, as my job doesn't necessarily care if I'm in the office with it but when I travel out for work they do not want me to have it. It hasn't even been a week and i really wanna keep it but the guy said 4 months before I can take this thing out and put in the clear bar. Is there ANY way I can have a shop place in a clear bar wihtout a serious risk of infection? If I could get the clear bar in i would leave it for the 4 full months while continuing the cleaning process. I hope for some good news but I on't really expect it.

Re: Need some advice
Hi Ron, sorry it took me so long to respond, I've been stuck without power for almost two days.
Most retainers are made of acrylic, which is porious, which harbors bacteria, which is bad.
There are only two companies I know that manufacture jewelry for hiding piercings that use materials good enough for 'trying to heal' piercings:
Steel Skin
Glasswear Studio
